Do you use PLR items as freebies?

I was wondering how many people use PLR items as items that you use to give away as freebies for your email subscribers. I have only done this with a few of my items because they were good quality and the rights allowed for free giveaways.

I don't use plr stuff but a friend of mine uses them for the free things that he gives away to his email subscribers. He says that he gets more signups because he tells people that not only do they get the free thing but that they can give it away themselves also. I'm going to have to try it out one day soon.

As long as the rights permit that then that will probably get some people to signup that normally wouldn't I guess. Then I guess they could use it for their free item to give away to subscribers.

Quality and accurate information is the thing that I have always found hard to find in PLR items. It seems like most of the stuff is outdated by several years.

Same here Maria. All I seem to be able to find are low quality PLR items for the most part. It just takes a lot of looking around to find anything of value.

I have seen some on ebay but I have a strange feeling that they will not be any good and a complete waste of money so I have not even bought any.

Yes you'll want to avoid most of those PLR items that you find on Ebay if you are looking for quality. I have seen many of them that are sold there and they are all not even worth the bother.

There might be some good things but you'll have a hard time finding the good ones.

I was doing some google searches and found some free plr websites. Since they are free I was thinking about downloading some just to check them out. No cost = no loss.

I have seen several of those types of websites over the last couple of years that are offering free PLR items and from what I have seen most of the free stuff is outdated. You never know though, you might find something useful.

Before you give away any PLR type items make sure that they have "Giveaway" rights. Some are not allowed to be given away, which I never really understood myself.

Usually the rights will be included in the download file and they will state what can be done with the item. Depending on where you get them they might have it listed what the item can be used for.

I found some websites that have some free ones and I downloaded a couple just to check them out. They had documents included in the files that said what they could be used for. Thanks for the help.

When I first started looking into PLR items a few years ago I downloaded some of the free ones myself also. It was kind of a learning experience to find out more about them. There just isn't a lot of recent and reliable information on PLR things that I have found these days.

At least you were able to find out about the usage rights so now you can hopefully find something that you can use for some good.

I have bought some PLR ebooks and even downloaded some free ones but I have not used them to give away fro free but I have been thinking about doing that. Usually I buy them just to read for myself and found some good tips.
