How can I check my keyword rankings?

I want to see what keywords or search phrases I am ranking highly for but I am not sure how to do that. Does anyone know an easy way to check this?

I have been using a free online checker and it works pretty well for a free service. They only check up to the top 100 spots so if you rank worse than that then they will not show. Maybe the paid plan does higher but I don't know for sure.

Up to the top 100 spots is fine with me. I don't think I would really need to see much above that.

Top 100 is the first 10 pages in Google's search results and most people don't look anything beyond the first couple of pages so that should be good enough.

Yes that amount will be fine. I rarely go past the second page unless I am just not finding what I am looking for.

I rarely go past the first pages lately since it seems like they always have what I am looking for on the first page.

It does help to have the top 10 pages though so that you can see if you are going up or down in those rankings.

I have seen my traffic to my blog increase and decrease from time to time so that is why I wanted to check my rankings. I was wondering if that is the reason for the changes I see.

That might be the reason for the change in traffic. That's not the only thing that can cause fluctuations in your traffic but it is because of that many times.

I just checked them yesterday and some of my keywords have gone up so I am happy about that.

That's good. I checked mine a couple of days ago and they are about the same. I am hoping they will go up soon since I have started doing some more social media marketing.

I checked last night and a couple of my keywords have a big increase in rankings since I last checked so I am real happy about that. My traffic has only gone up a little though so I am hoping it will go up more soon.

Do you update yours often? I have found that more frequent updates helps me get more traffic for mine.
