I am introducing this new thread regarding my self study on SEO. As a beginner, I am requesting our masters out there to guide me or to correct me if there is something wrong with everything I will be sharing about my daily learnings. This is for me to ensure only that I am on the right direction. I enumerated the concepts thus you can easily respond pointwise.
My Notes:
1. SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization".
2. SEO is a process, or a practice, or a marketing discipline. It is not a physical device, machine, or computer.
3. SEO is aiming on the following:

i. to make our website in the top spot (or at least visible) in search result (they called it "to improve rankings").
ii. to make search engine* understand our website.
iii. to gather significant numbers of audience or viewers (they called it "to drive traffic").
4. SEO tackles technical details and creativity to achieve above number '3'.ii. to make search engine* understand our website.
