Great, I am glad that you got it back up and running. I'll be checking out more of your articles this weekend. I see lots of good topics that I am interested in.
Another great plugin to use is this one:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/stealth-login-page/
It will also allow you to add a P.I.N. number in addition to your usual password. That makes hacking your site exponentially harder since you are adding basically a big multiplier of difficulty for hackers. You can set a custom P.I.N. number that you choose so that is nice and it works great. I have never had any of my sites get hacked and have used it on hundreds of sites.
You can also add this slider captcha:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/slider-captcha/
Which will make people or bots have to enter your password, P.I.N. number as well as slide the captcha. Because this is a slider captcha and not a traditional captcha it makes it impossible for bots to even try to log in once.
I use these two plugins along with the free wordfence version which I limit login attempts to 5 before someone is locked out.
This combination that I use is awesome and makes hack attempts something that I don't have to worry about.
I'm glad you got your site back up and going vishwa. At least you had backups so you didn't lose anything.
