Should we give up on Google+?

In my opinion removing google+ will be a big loss for the people who is just starting to get use to it. Its true that most of us is looking for a new and more useful for our task. But some of us like my mom who is not familiar in the new technology google+ for her is helpful enough for her to ask were to find the place that she want to visit. Although yes we can teach them how to use the new one but for them to familiarize it again i think they will still like the google+ or the older version of it.

I don't think google+ has much of a future these days, bleeding off users so any marketing attempts there would go un heard of and would be quite the waste of effort. If it's a link to something hosted somewhere posting there would not be a bad idea but don't do anything google+ exclusive in my opinion.

Anyone using Google plus should continue until they shut it down which am not sure it's going to happen because they have been saying it for long now and it hasn't happened yet. Let's enjoy it while it last.

I just started using Google+ to market the blog posts on my blog and now the last couple of days I have seen some things that said that Google is going to kill Google+ and shut it down.

Is that true and should we just forget about it and concentrate on Facebook and some other social media websites?

I haven't been using the social media websites long to market my blog posts so I would not be losing much but I also don't have time to use on a lost cause.

It might be rumors and I think that we shouldn't give up on google plus. I am there most of them just reading quotes and sharing.

I also advertise my blog there although I don't have many followers. My blog is linked to my Google plus and I hope this are just rumors.

I don't personally think that we should give up Google +. The features unique to Google+ are what make it valuable to businesses. These features help an organization stand out from their competitors, reap the benefits of the platform and perform better across their website, social and search.

Many businesses have created either their own series of Google+ Hangouts or have held multiple, one-time events as a Hangout. Hangouts enable businesses to discuss topics of interest to their audience face to face, while including the input of others to ensure that an engaging conversation is occurring. I personally worked for a company before which uses Google+ and Hangouts to communicate with all the agents and team mates employed with the company. It is indeed very useful and reliable so I don't think we should give up on using it.

There is no certainty as to if and when Google would shut Google+ down. They might just reformat it to something more competitive if not at par with Facebook.

I was reading about Google shutting down Google+ after doing a search on this and it seems like there have been other times where it was going to be shut down but they just made changes and came back.

I think the same as you and that Google might just make a format or some other changes and go at it again.

I have been hoping that they would just do something like that and not completely shut it down. I am getting some good responses from people on there so I would hate to lose that.

I haven't heard of the shutdown yet, though I would suggest migrating your web products to facebook little by little. To be honest this is my preferred social media platform for anything including business and even making notes or blogs. It just feels more universal and friendly to me plus I feel it would always have a wider catch than google+. I'm sorry, I hope my opinion helps.

I already use Facebook too but I am just not getting responses as much as I get in Google+. Do you get good responses from Facebook?

I have heard before a number of times that Google+ is going to be shut down but it hasn't happened yet. I wouldn't believe it until I see some kind of official announcement from Google saying that they are going to shut it down.

I think that they might be rumors too since it seems like this has been something that has been said for some years now.
